.NET Domain Name Registrations
When the .NET universal domain name extension was initially set up in 1985, together with the first domains on the Internet, it was supposed to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure firms. Given that there were no particular conditions about the usage of the top-level domain extension, though, .NET domains were secured and used for various purposes and by many people. This domain extension is a wonderful alternative to .COM, especially if the desired domain with the latter domain extension is not free for registration.
Obtaining a dot NET domain name with our firm is effortless and takes only a couple of minutes, given that we work with an ICANN-certified registrar company. You can acquire such a domain for an interval between 1 and 10 years, or, if you already own a domain, you can transfer it to our firm and we will renew it after the transfer process is done. Transfers are available for all domains, which are at least sixty days old, provided that they are not locked and that you have acquired an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures introduced by the .NET Registry against unauthorized transfers. You can easily update the WHOIS details of the domain through your Control Panel, or, if you don't wish this information to be public at all, you can add a Whois Privacy Protection service, so nobody will be able to check your real contact details.
The .NET domain extension supports internationalized names, so you can select if you want to aim at a specific country or area using a domain name in the native language, or the global Internet community – using a generic English name.
